Fright Night and Spooks & Spirits Tours at The Met in NYC

ART SMART’s latest tour creations take guests on a journey through the traditional inspirations behind Halloween. These 1.5 hour guided tours through The Metropolitan Museum of Art explores ghosts, magic, death rituals, and ancient origins of Halloween as they appear in art throughout the centuries.

Each tour will feature some of The Met’s most beloved galleries, including the Egyptian Wing and the Greek and Roman departments. Along the way you will discover everything from funerary practices in ancient Egypt to legends of zombies and werewolves in Rome to stories of inexplicable magical events. Highlights include haunting scavenger hunts, terrifying trivia, and tasty post-tour treats. As always, feel free to continue your exploration after the tour has ended. Costumes are also welcome, yet keep in mind that security will not allow anything that could be used to poke the art.

There is a limit to 30 guests per tour, so sign up today! Tickets are $30 per adult and $18 per child/teen, including admission.
